Max Baucus is going fishing and a couple of other things…

Posted by: taggles on: June 19, 2009

How these people just flaunt this bullshit in our faces is galling!

Lobbyists Will Cast Their Lines During Baucus’ Fishing Weekend

Senate Finance Chairman Max Baucus of Montana plans to take a break from the grind of crafting a health care overhaul to serve as a Democratic rainmaker with a few of his friends along the Madison, Gallatin and Yellowstone rivers in the Treasure State this weekend.

Lobbyists and political supporters will get their chance to cast fishing lines and drive golf balls with the Senate’s top tax writer at his Fly-Fishing & Golfing in Big Sky event. The cost is $2,500 per person, $5,000 for a political action committee. And for the same price, more fun lies ahead at Camp Baucus, the summer camp he holds for friends and their families in his home state between July 31 and Aug. 2.

Advocates of public financing of elections — such as Craig Holman, a lobbyist for Public Citizen — say lucrative parties like the Baucus events give special interests undue influence over legislation.

“It’s unseemly to be doing this just before the markup,” said Holman, referring to pending committee action on Baucus’ draft health care bill. “This kind of schmoozing of lawmakers clearly buys influence. This kind of event clearly shows why we need public financing.”

Baucus brushed aside the criticism. “There’s no problem. I’ve been doing these events for more than 10 years,” he said. Baucus said he did not know how many contributors would be attending.

Gates orders Hawaii missile defense against North Korea

U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates ordered additional missile defense assets for Hawaii, signaling the U.S. might consider preventing a successful missile test launched at or near Hawaii — as it seems North Korea is preparing to do. U.S. military officials would not confirm whether they are tracking a North Korean vessel suspected of carrying weapons, missile parts or even nuclear materiel. The U.S. says it will enforce a UN Security Council resolution that calls on international navies to request permission to board and inspect North Korean ships, a resolution that prompted North Korea to pledge more missile tests and to press forward with its nuclear program.

White House Plans Meeting With Gay Leaders To Smooth Over DOMA Tensions

The Obama Justice Department has reached out to major gay rights organizations and scheduled a private meeting for next week with the groups, in an apparent effort to smooth over tensions in the wake of the controversy over the administration’s defense in court of the Defense of Marriage Act.

In other news concerning women’s groups standing up to Obama…..

Oops, never mind, there is no news on that front, future looks bleak.

Loved that last tidbit, taggles!

“Exclusive: NOW meets to elect new leadership – we’ve got the financial info and membership figures”

http://alegrescorner.soapblox.net/showDiary.do?diaryId=3168

Bottom line, NOW isn’t doing well financially and the “leadership” that has run NOW into the gutter is very well paid.

Re-posted from downstairs:

A comment from me just went through at advocate on the story about the GLAD lawyer dropping out of the fundraiser:

“A gay tsunami has hit the Obama Administration. Now it’s been announced that DOJ will be meeting with some gay lawyers to discuss DOMA. (But only after it was leaked to the press that as of yesterday DOJ flat-out refused to meet with them.) Oh, and Richard Simmons is expected at the White House. I’m not sure why. I bet BO and MO are already sweating over the gay community’s collective fury. Our turn for equality is now, Mr. President. No more “I owe you’s.” I expect payment up front. You do something for me and we’ll talk about what I can do for you.”

Didn’t Kathy Griffin once say “Don’t fuck with the gays?” I feel like somebody did and if they didn’t – they SHOULD HAVE!

Netroots Nation, the big lefty political/blogging meeting, is organizing sessions for their conference in August. Unfortunately, they seem have given up on the idea of a secular nation, because this one session on A New Progressive Vision for Church and State has a bizarre description.

“The old liberal vision of a total separation of religion from politics has been discredited. Despite growing secularization, a secular progressive majority is still impossible, and a new two-part approach is needed–one that first admits that there is no political wall of separation. Voters must be allowed, without criticism, to propose policies based on religious belief.”
(snip)

http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/2009/06/netroots_nation_dives_into_ina.php

Sound like more of the Obot PC and social equivalency…”France bans head scarves = cutting off 13 yo girl’s head”

No more “I owe you’s.”
*********
John Berry’s IOU, “You get the pony at the twilight of Obama’s second term”(fingers crossed behind back).

Thank the gods that one group is calling bullshit on the bullshitter in chief.

OT..Hillary had surgery at GW Hospital this AM.

I don’t care if voters propose policies based on religious beliefs. I do object when politicians do!

John Berry and that HRC guy are as big a disgrace to the gay movement as Kim Gandi is to women’s movement!

thanks for the link to alegre’s SHV! that is a really good article!

a little birdie told me last week that they are close to electing Terry but they needed some more votes. and that is was definitely doable. it’s gonna be a nail biter. there is a lot of division within NOW right now.

more evidence that they are falling back on the tried and true method of callin anyone who disagrees with Obama a republican (especially us nasty gay men):

# Mark | June 19th, 2009 at 02:16 pm

I certainly understand the frustration of the gay community on equality issues. But perhaps Obama’s people don’t see gay people – particularly gay men – as strong supporters of the Democratic Party. Because they’re not – in an election where the public swung +5 to Obama, gay people swung +7 to Walnuts – which is why you see **** like “We sent in our change of party affiliation yesterday.” Does that mean that ignoring your single-issue voting, you support foreign wars, bad health insurance and reduced taxes on rich people? If that’s the kind of Democrat you are, then I don’t see why Obama should lift a finger for you until 38 states have passed gay marriage…

Oh, I’ve seen them call them republicans and dirty PUMA’s.

The politics of division!

That asshole poster doesn’t even care what obama ran on. he is a sycophantic obama ass kisser.

These bots who refuse to cast a critical eye on anything obama are a sickening bunch.

he is a brownshirt on the sliding scale of those who are in or recovering from an obamacoma.

My latest comment at the Advocate:

“I have noticed at several of the LBGT blogs that some are really wanting people to turn their energy toward Congress rather than Obama. I find this disturbing as this defocuses the mobilization against Obama that is uniting our community. But I find it more disturbing that many of these posts are “cut and paste” from other blogs. Is there another organized movement going on to defocus on Obama and blame the lack of movement on Congress that the rest of us have not been told about?”

http://www.advocate.com/news_detail_ektid92088.asp#Receipt

lol I forgot about taggles taxonomy already…

i meant latda

“I have noticed at several of the LBGT blogs
********
I usually write LGBT is LBGT the proper order? At my age, like Mr. Walpin, I am easily confused.

Uh oh, latda! Some of my posts have brought up the larger issue Democrats have with the gay community, in addition to Obama. Though my intent was not to defocus the anger from Obama and his Administration on to Congress.

SHV, I constantly shift them about. Someone was asking earlier about a list of who has and hasn’t pulled out of the fundraiser. I don’t know if anyone linked to this already, but I saw this announcement made beforehand on americablog (those in bold have pulled out):

If you can’t make the date, take a rain check and help anyway? SUZE ORMAN just signed on that way. ELIZABETH BIRCH signed on that way. Lots of others.

If you CAN make the date, you’ll be joining the Vice President of the United States . . .

. . . along with Virginia Governor / DNC Chair Tim Kaine . . . immediate past DNC Chair Howard Dean . . . Chairman Barney Frank . . . Representatives Tammy Baldwin and Jared Polis . . . Vermont Senate President Pete Shumlin . . . District of Columbia Mayor Adrian Fenty . . . David Mixner . . . Richard Socarides . . . The Task Force’s Rea Carey . . . HRC’s Marty Rouse . . . ESPA’s Alan Van Capelle . . . GLAD’s Mary Bonauto . . . NBJC’s Alexander Robinson . . . GMHC’s Marjorie Hill . . . The Victory Fund’s Chuck Wolfe . . . Towle Road’s Andy Towle . . . Iraq Marine vet Brian Fricke (whom you may have seen on 60 Minutes) . . . Billy Bean . . . Joan Garry . . . Keith Boykin . . . Ray Buckley . . . Brian Johnson . . . Corey Johnson . . . Dixon Osburn . . . Paul Smith . . . Bruce Bastian . . . Mitchell Gold . . . Krystal Ball . . . and so many others, like YOU, who have been pushing the ball down the field for so long. (Well, Krystal is fairly new to this, but what a kick to have a pro-marriage CPA triathlete young mom running to unseat a conservative Republican in Virginia.)

http://www.americablog.com/2009/06/two-more-drop-out-of-dnc-fundraiser.html

Cogress has nothing to do with court motions or briefs defending the executive branch of the US.

I would have bet my soul that Krystal Ball was a drag queen….

gary, I thought the same thing about Krystal Ball! I thought, “Oh, there’s a drag queen in the same room with Tim Kaine? Does he know this?” LOL.

“I usually write LGBT is LBGT the proper order?”

It was just a bit of an identity issue on my part, SHV. LOL Traditionally it has been LGBT.

As a foodie, I wish people would write GBLT.

FYI from Amiericablog about the Blight House Peoples Meeting with
The GaY ATM Machine………….

This does go to show — and I’ve heard it from many people on other issues — if you want the attention of the Obama White House, you have to play hard ball. For the LGBT community, among other things, that means shutting down the Gay ATM.

No doubt, we’ll hear how great it was that White House people talked to the gays. That might have been a big deal in 1979, not 2009.”

Obama can’t pull his leg out of his butt on this one!

It’s too late. He’s over with!

Oh my! Oh my!

The new issue of the Globe is out!

And just look at its big cover story headline!

“Fly Widow Confesses Husband was Gay and was there for Gay Talks at Obama’s White House”

http://iowahawk.typepad.com/iowahawk/2009/06/widow-of-murdered-fly-seeks-white-house-apology-shit.html

Here’s my comment from the previous thread:

la-t-da: The lesbians getting into the fray is like sending in the SeeBees and the Marines. Get the fuck outta the way!!

I think sotomayor is prolly ok. I like this clip! No one knows anything for sure. but i think this is pretty telling and i happen to like what she is saying here:

Don’t you know it, Fred. There’s a reason why Dykes on Bikes have always got the chance to lead the way in our marches. Roll On!

Anyone want to jump in over here? Mark is a Brownshirt asshole. He must be the real Manipulator and Chief’s chief of staff.

Great find, taggles!

Butters, that was hilarious, thanks!

but then again, Ken Starr just endorsed her! Who the hell knows. We will all see. but after seeing that along with her writings, i think she is a feminist. but I reserve the right to be completely wrong! LOL

latda, i’m over there with you. He has narrowed his attack from gays, to gay men, and now he’s up to white gay men are not loyal democrats…lol.

can i have a link to where you folks are?

oops, never mind. just saw it! duh!

Thanks, taggles, for going in. Mark is cutting into my Friday night drinking time. It is already 3:30 here in AZ. I should have started drinking hours ago.

he’s working up to the racist bit gary!

Butters, you are too funny!

crap my intellegence sources are telling me the shit is about to hit the fan in Iran…FYI

Sorry I missed your thread Gary its good to see the LGBT community is waking up finally. I hope Credit Card Joe Biden has to pay for all those rubber chicken and Babaganoush platers that our hiogh donor gay brothers and lesbian sisters aren’t gonna be eating next week.

Can we have a little more info, fuzzy, on your FYI? A link or something?

maybe i ought to get back on twitta for a little bit. i haven’t been on it all day!

crap my intellegence sources are telling me the shit is about to hit the fan in Iran…FYI
*************
You are right. I think it took a few days for Ali Khamenei to be certain of where the military, revolutionary guards and police stood and today, he told the country how it was going to be.

sorry just a call from a connected family member you arent gonna see this anywhere until it happens…

The Grand Ayatollah Khamenei has boxed himself into a corner he has given nothing to the opposition and he didnt even discuss in his “Friday Sermon” how the Islamic Rebublic counted 40 million hand written ballots in a few hours…also the fact that in many areas more people voted than were elligible. It was a because I say so ultimatium.

Also the leader of the gaurdian council Rafsanjani was not at the “sermon”.Rafsanjani is important he is a reformer and an opponent of Khamenei and Arm-in-a-dinnerjacket. he is also importantas leader of the Gaurdian Council this council appoints and removes the Grand Ayatollahs.

Their have been only two Grand Ayatollahs Knomenei and Khamenei it was assumed that these all powerful leaders rule for life but the Islamic Republics Constitution has a means of removal if the Grand Ayatollah is considered to be leading the country down an “un-Islamic Path”.

this is not gonna end good think China 1989….the ruling elite in Iran is split and that doesnot bode well according to my source.

I bet Hillary know what going on now….

Oh and we motorist are screwed Iran exports 2.5 million barrels of oil per day….

Top of the ninth in CWS game: LSU Tigers 11 Arkansas 2.

If Khamenei cracks down he will loose his moral authority to rule as “the just and good judge of Islam in Iran” see he will be seen as no different than the Shah…by the 40 million youth of the nation who dont remeber the shah but heard the stories….

A crackdown by Khamenei and the killing of so many of the sons and daughters of the prophet that such a crackdown would lead to, in what is seen by many as the only Islamic Republic in the muslim world, will forever reduce the stature of the Iranian governments moral authority to lead before the eyes of muslim world and particularly the shi’ia Islamic world.

taggles what does twitter say?

Strike that: 13 to 2

Ok, I responded to that homophobic Mark on the thread linked by La-t-da — whaddanasshole.

Thanks Angie! all of us should try to make posts if we can on those threads.

Here’s theirother thread on the same issue. Thanks, Angie and Taggles. I forgot how exhausting it is to deal with the Brownshirts.

http://theplumline.whorunsgov.com/justice-department/obama-administration-set-to-hold-powwow-with-big-gay-groups/

This seems to explain why Mark was at Plum Line today.

“It seems that President Obama’s Department of Justice is just livid over the Washington Post’s Plum Line blog, and its earlier article about how Obama’s DOJ and OPM refused to work with gay legal groups who were trying to find a way to work around DOMA in order to give federal employees health and other benefits. DOJ is reportedly claiming that Plum Line’s story is wrong.”

http://www.americablog.com/2009/06/obama-admin-rebuffed-gay-legal-groups.html#disqus_thread

I had to share I hope I wsnt ruff…

Mark sorry you feel this way…We Gays have been supporting the Democratic Party since before you were born I would suggest you watch the HBO special “And the Band Played on…” which show a gay man addressing the DNC in 1979…I know you will say “it was the age of disco every political party had a gay spokesperson…”

Oh and to continue your Gay history education: Since the era of McCarthy the term “Communist Pinko F*g” made sure everyone knew we gay men were died in the wool “Lefties”.

I have been called R@cists, Republican, and Disloyal long enough by the likes of you. I am not taking it anymore! I am none of these things but I bet you are.

If you are looking for a Republican look at Obama himself, if you are looking for a Christian fundamentalist look at Obama himself, and if you are looking for a turncoat and a liar and a person of great disloyalty to “Core Democratic Values” look at Obama himself.

I wanted a real Democrat in the White House! One in the FDR JFK LBJ mold real party heroes Like Bill “big dawg” Clinton! All of the men had personal flaws but each rose above them to do the job they were chosen by divine providence to do!

Instead we got Obama…I feel cheated…In a year when the Democratic Party could have nominated a tray of Cheeses and won, we should have chose an intellectual giant, a politically experienced titan and a true believer in “Core Democratic Values” instead we chose not to do so. The party elite pre-selected Obama.

You own this dawg that wont hunt…not me and I will never forget or forgive you and your ilk for it.

mark go home to the rock in the cave you crawled out from under!

Boy, this week has been such a royal FU to those without money and power. If you have it, you’re safe. If you don’t, go complain to someone who gives a crap. Is anyone in government standing up for the distressed and dispossessed. Besides Barney Frank and John Edwards that is.

Three Wickets… barney Fr….oh 3W you were being sarcastic…love it which version are you useing? MS Sarcasm 8.9 or 9.0?

but to get booth tools into the same comment is wonderful and speaks to your superior intellect that we so value here!

Good one fuzzy.

Fuzzy, you too harsh…never. I especially liked, “In a year when the Democratic Party could have nominated a tray of Cheeses and won…”

Fuzzy!! I love the “tray of Cheeses” comment too!! :-)

well he is kind of like cheese dont you think? It was an Omage to angie’s can of cheese whiz…

whoa-boy, I read the comments at the plumline – well done folks, virtual encore type clapping here. You all were wonderful! Particular accolades to Gary and Fuzzy for their ardent vehemence, with taste of course.
I’ll go back to lurking now, but hotdamn, that was good!

Ok this mark guy has pissed me off I may have to start praying against him…LOL:

Mark you are wrong, wrong, wrong! Oh and you are a homophobe. 1993 is not 2008. Congress gave us DADT and DOMA please read your constitution …both would have passed and became law with a huge veto override majorities in both houses even if President Clinton had not signed them into law. President Clinton hit the ground running with attempting Healthcare Reform and ending the outright ban on gay in the military. He got the rightwing smack down probably by “people like you.”

I wished he would have called congress on those two items and vetoed them. Alas the times were different then we have come so far in some ways. Mr. Clinton has come so far as has Hillary. Obama has come far also…from the myth of being of far left to the reality he is as right wing as Mr. Dobson and Rev Rick Warren. Obama is the “Purpose Filled Bigot” when it comes to LGBT rights.

Mark whoever is paying you to go from blog to blog to post these hate filled Obama sponsored MEMEs is really getting their monies worth from you today. We call you out today. You are spouting the official Obama MEME of the week to try to force Gay and Lesbian Democrats back under Obama’s bus.

I know you are a tool of Mr. Obama. Next MEME by Mark since we aren’t cowering be in shame over Gay people are all really republicans is that all Gay “white” men are R@cists! I can see it coming. I have been to this kind of party before with the like of you Mark. No one here is buying what you are getting paid to sell…got to Yes To Democracy they will love what you have to say there!

I wished he would have called congress on those two items and vetod them. Alas the times were different then we have come so far in some ways. Mr Clinton has come so far ans have Hillary. Obama has come far also…from the myth of being far left to the reality he is as right wing as Mr Dobson adn Rev Rick Warren.

Mark wants to have the last word he is such a biggoted frat boy!

some times I really forget how to cut and paste from word to the blog LOL

you all are awesome :)

fuzzy — I’m AMH on the plumline thread! LOL :-)

Geez there are some really ugly people. It’s a cesspool of hate. Ugh. I am not LGBT, however, I’ve worked and lived with folks who are since the 70′s. Never, in my entire experience have I ever encountered the vile bilge of hate that is erupting today. It’s despicable, deplorable, deadly. Who are these people that have no knowledge but hate? Reminds me, terribly, of what my parents talked about. I am more and more concerned about the tenor of the discourse today. Worse, I am starting to be fearful.

amgie I just figured it out and I know who LA is too…I am so thick sometimes…

Gary I havent been to heavy handed with Mark have I?

Those are awesome fuzzy!!!

DYB I always see your avitar is the 300 pin that was worn by the delegates that helped put hillary’s name into nomination at the convention were you one of the 300?

If so I am awestruck by your bravery to stand up for her!

fuzzy — there is no way anyone could be too heavy handed with that homophobe Mark.

I tried reading the comments at plum and I couldn’t stomach it. Frankly, I don’t give a shit what straight homobigots think!

fuzzy, nope, alas, I was not a delegate! I just use the image.

I think it is now past marks bed time

fuzzy, I’d say you were perfect. Obot and Advocate columnist Kerry Eleveld has a new article up at the Advocate saying that gay people are turning their backs on the Democrats after the party extended us a hand over the past couple of days. She is getting slammed in comments, but thought you all might want to let her know what you think :)

http://www.advocate.com/exclusive_detail_ektid92171.asp

“Worse, I am starting to be fearful.”

Ht, don’t worry. Unfortunately most of us know how to take care of ourselves in this realm of hate. I say unfortunately, because it should be over by now. We are vigilant. Think of us as Jack Nicholson in A Few Good Men: “You want us on that wall. You need us on that wall.” (Just disregard the darn DADT thing in that analogy. LOL)

gary — I’m trying to post a comment on the advocate & it is not getting through — I’ve tried 10x or more.

Kerry Eleveld is an idiot. I think I just posted a comment; it sometimes takes a few minutes for it to appear, right? This is what I wrote:

“WRONG! What Obama and the Democratic party is doing right now is saying “Sorry, honey, I didn’t mean that” after they bashed the gay community in the head. Scheduling a meeting AFTER THEY WERE EXPOSED FOR REFUSING TO HAVE ONE with gay-rights lawyers does not constitute “extending their hand.” You are so naive and foolish. You are the reason the gay movement has stalled, Ms. Eleveld, before achieving equal rights. You and others like you continue to appease your oppressors. You keep extending the line of credit – and you get NOTHING in return. Are you really so dense and blind? You are either extraordinarily naive or unbelievably stupid. I’ve had enough. The time is NOW for equality. Not later. NOW. No more IOU’s. THEY OWE US! Chickens are here to roost. Time to pay up. NOW.”

Angie is it the number of characters look at the top of your post they limit us to 1000 characters…the philistines!

Gary for your enjoyment:

Kerry I would expect this type of editorial from the bought and paid for by Obama MSM, not an Advocate contributor. This magazine is an independent voice of for and by the LGBT community. Why are you schilling for Obama?
To answer your question we in the gay community are just ahead of the trend. Soon all the core democratic constituencies will be abandoning Obama. He is not what we expected; he is not the democrat of our dreams. He is more Ronald Reagan than FDR and he is no Bill Clinton!

You are wrong our backs should be turned and more importantly our check books should be closed until 1) ENDA is passed, 2) DADT is repealed 3) ERA is an amendment to the constitution 4) Hate Crimes is law and 5) DOMA is history.

Those are the conditions of our loyalty. Dot Period THE END!

The most horrid comments I have faced all day was this post. So much hate in the name of God. Where is Pat Johnson when I need her.

http://theplumline.whorunsgov.com/justice-department/obama-administration-set-to-hold-powwow-with-big-gay-groups/#comment-27556

Gary where you send me I shall go forth and comment but next week I am on vacation with the family at Dollywood it TN…Seveirville to be exact….all 24 of us in two big cabins. I hope I return to find Madamab all rested and rtanned from her trip to the Caribean….

I am just praying I dont get ticks and chiggers!

Even though I know this type of thinking is real. It is still hard to believe it is real:

“Look, the only thing the gay community wants is the right to cornhole each other.
And by so doing spread diseases, STD’s and and confusion to the masses.
And then since this all began we have had nothing but natural disasters as a punishment from God!”

thanks fuzzy!! I got through!! Loved DYB’s comment.

la-t-da — where the hell did you find that shit?!?!?!

Fuzzy, I am going to the amusement park at Cedar Point next week. The best roller coasters in the country!

latda, that kind of thinking has always been around. After all, what is Rev. Phelps and family? There are countless like them. The internet gives them an opportunity to vent anonymously. And it will never change, just as there will always be racists, etc.

La-t-da — never mind, I found it & Shane the homophobe.

It is horrid in there, Angie. I only posted snark to get through it. I probably shouldn’t have engaged at all. Now I really need a drink.

BTW — I’m watching Fight Club right now.

have fun fuzzy. I adore Dolly. Is she gonna be there?

That sounds like the perfect movie to watch, Angie.

la-t-da — I hate to admit it but I love Fight Club. I have a much easier time admitting my love for Raging Bull because I can pretend it is the artistry of the cinematography that hooks me! :-)

have fun fuzzy!! TN is gorgeous!!

wow latda, I’m just now going through that comments thread and it makes the one with Mark look like a cake walk. And I’m not even half way through. I found this one particularly disturbing:

You **** should get over yourself and I would be glad when society and the proper court classify your perversion for what it is and criminalize it to the confines of your homes. You only deserve the right to work and to keep people from beating the living heiL out of you for choosing to conduct homosexual acts over hunting for and make opposite-*** relationships work.

scary stuff. And this is Plumline not fucking Free Republic.. jesus.

Fight Club is one of my favorite movies, Angie. It it really an amazing sociological work. A must watch. “I am a beautiful unique snowflake.” Hard not to think of a obot with that line.

Ah geez, I’m thisclose to telling @ mysista on-that plumline thread to go f*ck herself. I did call her a “f*cking loon” and a “f*cking moron” though, so maybe I shouldn’t be giving myself any kudos. LOL

la-t-da — exactly –it encapsulates everything that is f*cking wrong with the Obots. That’s what those morons need — some real human interaction, even if it is fists on flesh.

“You are not your khakis.”

I know, gary. I only have to hear that stuff when I go home to Louisiana to visit family. Actually they know better than to say such shit to me, but that “smell” still reeks from the corners of their hateful minds.

I just read the comments at the first plumline post! they were all great!

fuzzy! you speak the truth!

la-t-da — and thanks for the hint — I do actually love the sociology behind Fight Club — my love of the movie totally has nothing to do with a bare-chested Brad Pitt all sweaty & beating the hell out of other bare-chested men! LOL

la-t-da — you are from Louisiana? Where? I grew up in NOLA and lived there until 4 years ago. Of course, NOLA isn’t the rest of Louisiana — it has a very diverse population & a big GLBT community.

I looooove “Fight Club.” It’s one of my favorite movies. And David Fincher is one of my favorite directors.

Didn’t that “sista” person leave multiple comments at plum? He/she is obviously a troll! Or maybe it’s Obama himself…!

this one is for la-t-da: Wow, don’t give me the too much on Obama’s plate argument as to why we should wait one more day for our god/dess given civil rights. Harry Truman was able to desegregate the entire military while fighting a war in Korea that was the mother of all battles since WWII. He also had pressing domestic issues and was following the most beloved President of that century so far. If you don’t believe me find a veteran that survived the Pusan Perimeter.
On to the Bigots here who may have just picked up your white sheets from the cleaners. This may surprise you but America’s founders in their infinite wisdom refrained for establishing a state religion. They went so far as to prohibit congress for doing so in the future. The law is called the first amendment. It officially makes these United States of America a secular society. This is why we can have a Mosque, a Baptist church, a synagogue, a catholic church and a wiccan coven all celebrating creation on the same street without anyone getting killed. It also allows the atheist to live at home in peace. It drives Al Qaeda crazy…and it makes us better than the terrorists.
So in our secular society we don’t have the right to deny LGBT people their civil rights. Unless you are ready to give up your Bible, Torah, or Quran for a state approved one or none at all. You can quote scripture up one mountain and down another mountain it has no weight in law. To say otherwise is a disservice to what Benjamin Franklin, James Madison, George Washington and all the founding fathers shed the lives fortunes and sacred honors in the procuring a nation where these principles still endure after 222 years.
Unless you are ready to give up your own special heterosexual rights then you should not deny Homosexuals the same rights. It is because you deny these rights to homosexuals that they are special right to begin with. By granting the LGBT community these rights they are no longer special.

These rights simply become…”rights endowed by their creator among these are life liberty and the pursuit of happiness…” is that what you are afraid of that you will lose your “special” rights that make you better than anyone else? If that is a case then you are no Christian nor are you a patriotic American…you are a tyrant the same as the ayatollahs that rule Iran.

Look Benjamin Franklin said it best when he said “I disagree with what you believe but I will defend your right to believe it to my death.”

Today around the world over 100,000 LGBT men and women are defending your rights while they serve in silence. Go to bed and think about that.

Woot — just got to the best line:

“You are not a beautiful unique snowflake. You are the same decaying organic matter as everything else”

Shreveport, Angie. College in Alexandria. Finished up at LSU. Got the hell out of that state at 23. Northern LA is very different. I loves me some NOLA.

Actually come to think of it, I’m going to start quoting that to the Obots & homophobes.

I am no Pat Johnson when she was made the unfortunately broke the mold! Latda I hope I in some way did her justice with my post!

la-t-da — ah, Northern Louisiana — totally different from NOLA. My sympathies. :-)

OMG, Fuzzy, I am going back in over there to read your post!!!! Love it.

(Don’t tell any one angie, but I can really appreciate that bare chest too.)

La-t-da– LMAO — somethings are objectively beautiful, regardless of your personal preferences!!

Wow, Fuzzy, if they had ears to hear, they could indeed hear that. Pat Johnson (((((fuzzy))))) preachin’ in the chapel of democracy now.

lol..I love it, they are really sending out the creepy nasties aren’t they? I haven’t seen obots this vicious since last april. I forgot how bad they were. it’s giving me flashbacks.

mysista is one sick bunny! that’s fer sure!

another post for sista and company…

to quote a great civil rights advocate from the state of Mississippi Fannie Lou Hamer:

I am Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired!

where is Pat!?!?!?!?!?

taggles — I think Pat had plans this weekend — guests or visiting one of her kids.

“picking up your white sheets from the cleaner” LMAO

Good post taggles. I don’t think most of them are bots but you sure called it out. Why aren’t they in there defending the LBGT community?

oh yeah, they are creepy and getting paid to be that way too! blech!

aw, Bob (with the testicular cancer) is dead. Poor Bob.

btw — Bob in the movie Fight Club.

“I am Jack’s raging revenge.” (I think you’ve already past that line angie.)

latda I said the pick up your sheets at the cleaner line….

Some horrible people over there at plumline. Fuzzy, Angie, your arguments are beyond their comprehension. These sick, preformed creatures still drinking from the primordial soup. They are not even worthy of your outrage.

I believe Pat’s enjoying a wedding in Provincetown, RI. Beautiful this time of year. Latda, you’re going to Cedar Point? I grew up near there, used to go all the time.

La-t-da — I love those “I am Jack’s . . .” lines. I’m at where Jack finds out who exactly Tyler is. hee hee!!

Enjoy Angie. Don’t know why. Never really dug that film.

3W — that’s right — Pat’s at a wedding. I knew she had plans.

and yeah, I figured out that those morons don’t have the ability to comprehend what we are saying. That’s why I told them to go f*ck themselves.

3W — you don’t dig Fight Club because either (1) you aren’t pessimistic enough to be drawn to its premise on what our society has (de)volved into and/or (2) you don’t have an adequate appreciation for Brad Pitt’s sweaty bare chest.

oh yeah, that’s right, pat is desperately trying to get her hands on the HA. I wish her the best of luck!

“latda I said the pick up your sheets at the cleaner line….” I know, sweet pea. Hope I can call you sweet pea. I still have some Southern ways about me.

((((Taggles))) “Praise the Lord Jesus Christ”

I’m excited about Cedar Point, 3W. My partner went last year and really enjoyed it. She said the town was quaint though she stayed in the park most of the time. She and her father meet at different roller coaster park around the country every summer. I am going along for the “ride” this time.

I am actually really glad that Pat isn’t here to see this.

Taggles — I about DIED laughing with your “Praise the Lord Jesus Christ” line!!

Angie, was gonna say it had to do with believability for me, that the premise was a stretch. Could be I’m not willing to accept that much devolution. And no, Brad’s chest does less for me than his acting, which I’ve enjoyed more in other films.

la-t-da — you’re right — I’m glad Pat J isn’t here to see this either. But I have a feeling it will only get worse. The “real” Obots are coming out again. First it was women. Now it is gay.

I am still laughing about “Praise the Lord Jesus Christ”.

3W — the only movie I’ve enjoyed Brad Pitt’s “acting” more in was Troy — got to see his bare chest AND legs. :-)

taggles in the house. She’s burning down the house over there.

And his derriere if I’m not mistaken. Can’t compete. I liked him in Sleepers and River Runs Through It.

the plum report is it a liberal or conservative blog?

they are not denying they are obama supporters! it’s frickin insane!

Shane, worry about your own cornhole. ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brad’s done some good work – acting-wise. I think Se7en was great. 12 Monkeys. As far as Fight Club – honestly, believability never struck me as the point of it all! Actually, the fact that none of it is real is kind of the point, no??? I think Pitt, Norton, and Bonham-Carter are terrific in it!

“A River Runs Through It” is a gorgeous movie! Visually it’s gotta be one of the most stunning films I’ve ever seen. (Cinematographer Philippe Rousselot is one of my favorites. Everything he does is like a painting. He’s also responsible for cinematography in “Dangerous Liaisons,” “Interview with the Vampire,” “Queen Margot,” among many others.)

LOL it should have been “in Jesus name I pray…now get out”

I forgot Norton was in it. I liked him better than Pitt in Fight Club. La Reign Margot is stunning!!!!! The cinematography and production design, mmwwaahh. Adjani is hynotic. Now that’s reality, even if historical reality.

“Satan get thee behind me” THEY AIN’T CHRISTIAN

slychics! gary, pull out the god warrior!

Fuzzy
That post was beautifully written and so true.
Equal Rights are for everyone. There should be no exceptions.

WOMEN WITH INTELLIGENCE AND EXPERIENCE,MEN WHO SUPPORT THEM AND COUNTRY BEFORE PARTY ALWAYS

PUMAS,BUBBAS,EQUALISTS AND THOSE PEOPLE RULE

You know I was just playing with ya over there, angie. Right?

Jeeesus!! It’s become a serious rumble over there. Angie, you got a great compliment from one of the poor retards.

“Just because you’re quick with a putdown and have a black belt in cynicism doesn’t make you smarter than anyone else.”

Yes it does!!

DYB — I actually do think Pitt is a good actor. And I love Ed Norton too.

La-t-da — do you really think I’m being “vile” over at plumline? Oh well, c’est la vie. I think that is the only way to talk to those morons.

See my post above, angie. Sorry. I was just playing.

3 W –did you see what I told him?

“no it doesn’t – it just makes me smarter than YOU.” (I got that line from DYB)!! :-)

i’m pretty sure latda was being extra snarky, angie.

la-t-da — I was just teasing you!! LOL

Fight Club really did get me in the mood!! (btw, it is repeating right now!)

Content warning. Did you all see this post from Carolyn over there:

“Earlier today, an 18 y/o tgs young woman died after being raped and brutally beaten yesterday. She was then buried alive after breaking her knees with a sledge hammer.”

Has anyone heard about that?

That’s a really funny description of angie! I’d wear that as a badge of honor!

“Queen Margot” is a fascinating film. Adjani is one of the most gorgeous women in the world. And Vincent Perez…oh my. And totally naked too!

Obama apologists, religious bigots, freaks with incest issues, that’s all I see over there.

latda> Yikes! I haven’t heard about this at all. It didn’t make any headlines. (Typical, isn’t it?)

DYB, I agree that Seven was a good movie and that A River Runs Through It was breathtaking. I particularly liked the scenes in Helena- do you know if they were on location in the old part of town there? I will look for Rousselot then- I was not aware of him.

DYB — I think I’m going to put that as my face book status! LOL

Oh, spare us. I knew when “Fight Club” was being extolled, the vile gratuitous piece of shit “Seven” wasn’t far behind.

Get a grip, people. Patriarchy and violence is an infection. Get thee to some detox place. EOS.

What next? Boxing Helena?

Obama tells the truth at the Radio and TV correspondents dinner. he says “why should I hang out with celebrities when I can hang out with the ones that made me a celebrity”. He went on to say “I know where my bread is buttered”.

http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/politics/2009/06/19/sot.obama.jokes.cnn

Jeebus, I go to a ball game and come back here and the shit has hit the fan. I guess I should put on my hip boots and check out plumline.

Hey. At least WWE doesn’t take itself seriously and call vile depictions of stereotypes and violence “art.”

Give me WWE wrestlers hauling cripples down staircases over Seven’s rape of the obese eating and Fight Club’s woody over guys punching each other bloody.

they brought out the blue meanies over there SHV, this is getting ugly again….

Hurling cripples…I meant hurling…I was horrified at that, but that pales in comparison with “progressive” titillation of the violent porn of Seven and Fight Club.

Definitely, angie! You obviously got to them big time.

Wuw Zee. What exactly is the difference between WWE and movies, because of the different audiences. “Seven” was fine. Hated the head in the box, but would it have made such a big difference if it had been a man’s head. Lot of people bit the dust in that movie. “Boxing Helena” was spooky, but guess you didn’t buy the irony. Not sure I did either.

At least admitted porn has camp going for it.

gary, that’s Obama’s “we need the checks, not the people” moment all over again. But they don’t pay attention when he tells them the truth!

Seven was porn from start to finish. Anyone who can’t recognize that should be ashamed. It’s worse than backroom videos because people pretend it’s not porn.

Yeah, the audiences of WWE aren’t the ones fooling themselves.

Zee — trust, I know the reasons I *shouldn’t* like Fight Club — that is why I initially said I was “ashamed to admit that I love it.” I have a thing Bare-chested men beating the hell out of each other. Sue me. The patriarchy is elegant in its infiltration in all of our brains.

Zee, you need to make a distinction between women-hating and gratuitous violence. You’re mashing it all up. Which is it that you have an issue with.

I thought “Se7en” was a great thriller. “Fight Club” is more complicated. Obviously not everyone gets it. Not everyone gets “A Clockwork Orange” and “Clerks” either. (Actually, I hate “Clerks.”) Whatever. My DVD collection has to satisfy only myself.

You want art? The Cook, the Thief, His Wife and her Lover.

Debauchery, yes. Unashamed, yes. Art? Yes.

Seven? Cheap and revolting porn, unacknowledged.

I have no idea what the fuck anyone is talking about with fight club, seven or boxing helena or wwe. I don’t watch any of it and I don’t think it’s really what this thread is about. the brow beating of what people choose to watch on tv is ludicrous. to make such judgment is not right.

if you want to discuss the movies zee, fine. but don’t make judgment on people who have viewed them. that is a stretch.

“The Cook, The Thief, The Wife, and Her Lover” made me nauseous. And I’m not getting into a discussion on the definition of “art.”

Clerks definitely sucks but is too boring to comment on. “Not everyone gets it” is the typical “Fight Club” cop out.

Seven is vile. From start to finish. I’ve blocked most of it out of my head except for the opening horror scenes. It’s OBVIOUSLY lowest common denominator porn, veneered over with society’s approval.

I’m shocked people here defend depraved violence and exploitation.

Yeah, I didn’t like “Clerks” or any of the adolescent vernacular in Kevin Smith films.

beating of what people choose to watch on tv
*******
The Dem primaries cured me of TV.

taggles, be grateful…be very grateful! Sometimes it’s useful to know the societal limits and see what everyone’s talking about.

But none of those things, even those I deemed “art” over the obvious overt porn, are anything to lament missing, if you have been so blessed as to have been spared watching them!

I’m sorry, but praising the likes of Seven should not go unremarked.

“Not everyone gets it” was a deliberate point that I really don’t care what anyone thinks about cinema and “art” and how they classify “art.” This is something better left to Rudy Giuliani as he takes away money from museums.

lol, SHV! Fine. You win. The primaries were the vilest of all!!!!

you can remark all you want about any movie zee. but leave the personal judgment out of it.

you can make your point much better that way.

“I have a thing Bare-chested men beating the hell out of each other. Sue me. ”

Heh. Yeah, I know exactly who you’re referencing and he is awesome, I freely admit. Happily he’s in many other macho extravaganzas. :)

Zee — The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover is one of my favs. I actually think the beautiful Brad Pitt makes Fight Club seem less “great”(ie more “commercial”) than it truly is. Which is why I’m “ashamed” to admit I love it, but have no problem admitting my love for The Cook . . . & Raging Bull, for example.

DYB — I hate Clerks too!! LOL I think our taste in movies is eerily similar.

I won’t go on and on. But I didn’t like “Fight Club” because the reality/fantasy thing was blurry. I had absolutely no problem with the staged fighting. There’s worse in WWE and your garden variety TV crime drama. If you can excuse WWE Zee, you have no excuse. Same with “Seven.” It was a R rated graphic suspense film. No issues with its “violence.” If you want to cure society, you’d do better going after a lot of the programming on TV, accessible to everyone like WWE, unlike films people choose to see.

i really feel left out. I have no idea what shows or movies y’all are talking about. I spend too much time on the computer!

LOL angie. “Learn this. Wash. Rinse.Repeat. Sleep on it if you have to.”

A few of us here, seem to own the movie Fight Club, taggles. There are some great quotes from the movie that fit will with the bots. The line angie was saying over at that blog where from Fight Club.

“You are not a beautiful unique snowflake. You are the same decaying organic matter as everything else”

should I rent Fight Club? was it any good?

I did just watch Frost/Nixon though. it was really good!

The “first rule of Fight Club is, you do not talk about Fight Club.”

you are ALL breaking the first rule of Fight Club!!!!

Zee, we have been fighting with bots all day. Please to not come over here and lecture us. Now speaking for myself, do not lecture me about shit and lay your guilt trip crap on me. “I’m shocked people here defend depraved violence and exploitation.”

LOL 3W

taggles — I don’t know — I think you have to be kind of cynical to like Fight Club OR you have to really dig a sweaty, bare-chested Brad Pitt beating the hell out of other guys.

I qualify on both counts.

lol, SHV! Fine. You win. The primaries were the vilest of all!!!!
**********
It really did tox me out on TV and video…There is a 62″ TV at the end of the bed that is rarely used since Obama became POTUS.

taggles…like I said, some of the horrific viewing you should be grateful to have missed. Including WWE. Seven puts me over the edge, tho. It’s the absolute pits while pretending to have redeeming qualities…something WWE never pretends.

Brad Pitt can’t help being beautiful, tho, and has other redeeming qualities, too. I never fail to crack up at his performance in “Snatch” where no one can understand a word he says…even tho I’m indifferent to the typical violent male diamond heist plot.

People have rightly aligned war, real life war, with a type of porn. That’s why we should be attuned to and reject that in mainstream “art” as well.

2nd RULE of FIGHT CLUB: You DO NOT talk about FIGHT CLUB.

taggles, I’m not sure what your taste in movies is. You might want to give “Fight Club” (Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, Helena Bonham-Carter, Meatloaf) a try and see how you react. The critical reaction to it was sharply divided when it was originally released. But it has gained a cult following on home video since then. If you survive “Fight Club” (no pun intended) – try “Se7en” (Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kevin Spacey). It’s not for everyone, as you can tell from this discussion! But, as with “Silence of the Lambs” and the original “Halloween,” there actually isn’t much on-screen violence. There is the aftermath of crimes, but even that is mostly hidden in the shadows. The overall tone of the film, however, is very dark and creates that impression that you’ve seen more than you actually have. (“The Cook, The Thief, The Wife, and Her Lover” (Helen Mirren, Michael Gambone, Tim Roth) is much more visually explicit in terms of sex, nudity, and violence than “Se7en.”)

And then when you’re done with the nihilism of these movies, watch “The Incredibles”or something to restore your faith in humanity!

damn, fuzzy. You don’t sugar coat the truth…that’s awesome.

DYB — LOL — after Fight Club, I need to cleanse my palate with Its a Wonderful Life or To Kill a Mockingbird.

i appreciate your thoughts zee about the movies. and there can be good discussion about that.

thanks DYB for the run down! I would say that frost/nixon is the first movie i have rented in over two years. and even before that I haven’t seen many.

DYB, I suggest Wall-e I just watched it for the second time last night. We had just watched Hello Dolly (ovation tv channel has been showing broadway musicals all week) right before it, which is extra nice because that’s Wall-e’s favorite music :)

I just want to point out that I only mentioned Fight Club when I correctly guessed people would move on to the odious Seven. I would never take on Fight Club.

Yeah, la-t-da, me too. All alone, without backup. And bringing back new allies and news stories, too.

I’ll deplore Seven as the porn it is, because I don’t consider it an “attack” to say, take a serious look at that, people! It’s vile, from the opening scene of the obese person / gluttony, you might as well be watching the art version….the Cook, the Thief, his Wife and her Lover (and I’m not saying I recommend that, either!!)

Anyway, I was referring to the town Helena, Montana above, not the movie that includes that name. DYB, do you know if the scenes of Helena, Montana in The River Runs Through It were filmed on location? I assume they were, as the rest of it was, but i liked those quaint scenes of the early capital.

Good night all. Sleep tight.

I heard that Wall-E was good, Gary, but i have yet to see it- who does the soundtrack?

oh sure latda, calling it a night already???

it’s 125am here. and I’m still going, but I wish I was asleep. I gotta be up in a few hours!

sleep tight!

nite, latda

angie, my taste in movies is actually very varied. My favorite directors include (in no particular order) Billy Wilder, Woody Allen, David Fincher, Akira Kurosawa, James Ivory, Ang Lee. But I must confess I’m not crazy about Scorsese, whom I can take or leave. I think Coppolla at his best far outshined his film-school buddies (Scorsese/Spielberg/Lucas/etc.) Too bad Coppolla fizzled out long ago.

Also, having grown up in the USSR there’s lots of great Soviet filmmakers (besides people like Tarkovsky and Mikhalkov) that I greatly admire. Let me recommend to you a guy named Eldar Ryazanov. He was an amazing director. (He’s still alive, though he’s quite old.) His peak came in the 1970s and 80s. Some have called him the Russian Billy Wilder, which I agree with, just for the sheer breadth of the types of movies he made: musicals, comedies, dramas, satires, you name it. One of his films, “A Forgotten Tunes For A Flute,” was nominated for an Oscar in the 1980s as Best Foreign Film, but it’s not even his best work. There are DVDs you can netflix of a few of his movies, but the subtitles are pretty bad. The translation was obviously done by someone in Russia with no real understanding of the English language. If you can accept that the translation is not entirely accurate I think you can really enjoy these movies. The two that are available are “A Cruel Romance” and “A Railway Station For Two.” Both are near masterpieces.

Also, if you’re in the mood for great Soviet-era films (with real subtitles) check out “Moscow Does Not Believe In Tears” and “Come and See.” The former actually won the Oscar for Best Foreign Film in the early 1980s and it’s one of the most beloved films in Russia of all time. I read somewhere that when Reagan was preparing to meet with Gorbachev he was told to watch “Moscow Does Not Believe In Tears” to better understand Russian people.

“Come and See” is one of the harrowing war films you’ll ever see and it’s based on a true story.

Okay, enough film lecturing!

woops, I see that you put it up, Gary

I think “Silence of the Lambs” is worse than “Seven” on your scale Zee. Movies like these, it’s really up to the individual’s own imagination what they see. “Snatch” for instance, which you didn’t mind, had a hell of a lot more people blown up. Btw, I had fun with that film too. The earlier Guy Ritchie film “Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels” was even more fun.

lililam> I think that Redford did shoot “A River Runs Through It” on location!

hahaha, thanks Gary…I’m going to channel Sound of Music or Jesus Christ Superstar….a musical is the ticket…Seven definitely triggers me and I’m gonna go listen to some music..!!!! You all carry on!!! I have no idea why Seven triggers me when I can watch Kubrick, no problem…but it offends me to the core…I think it’s because it pretends not to be what it is.

“Wall-E” is wonderful! All the Pixar films are first rate (except “Cars,” which was a big disappointment.)

Night La-t-da — I gotta admit, its been fun!! :-)

ok…a gift for going off on Seven….try the Yugoslavian director Emir Kusturica for some offbeat utter charm! You won’t be disappointed…

lililam wall e is awesome. The music throughout are the above song from Hello Dolly and this one below. Wall e is a lonely robot who collects scraps of discarded humanity. He is especially touched by the music from Hello Dolly he finds on an old videotape:

I agree re: Cars, DYB. I saw it on a beautiful out door screen in the woods, which was obviously irrelevant to the movie, but I was hoping for something more. They could have done so much more in making the cars themselves have more visual character. I see more character in the parking lot.

My taste in films is varied too, but my favs. are usually documentaries. I love “true” stories.

I do love Scorsese though. Every thing up until Gangs of New York — that really sucked.

That does it, I must see Wall-E. A friend of mine said it was the best movie to have come out in a long time. It looks like that must be the case.

OK, Zee I’ll look for it! ;-)

Wow, fuzzy. I just read your last post over there. Amen, brother, fuzzy. Preach on! OK really gone now.

Okay, I’m off to bed too! If I dream about Brad Pitt in David Fincher movies I’ll try to make it “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” and not the other two.

angie> I prefer fiction (even if based on real life events.) This is true of books as well. I’m not a big fan of non-fiction. Which is not to say that I can’t appreciate it!

Thanks for the recos DYB and Zee. Yes and I also have difficulty knocking Scorsese.

nighty night DYB!

hey Gary, I won’t be around tomorrow do you think you can throw a tidbits or something together for me tomorrow?

I gotta leave the house at 645 for two baseball games tomorrow. I should be back late afternoon..

ThreeWickets> “knocking” or “liking” Scorsese? I appreciate his craft. But he leaves me cold and I never seek him out. Same goes for Spielberg, who can’t help but turn his movies into maudlin eye-rolling nonsense (even “Schindler’s List” starting with the scene where Schindler escapes from the factory and all the Jewish workers give him jewelry). Lucas, well, the original “Star Wars” must have been an accident. I think Coppolla is the only one of that group who truly made something spectacular. He burned brighter than all three put together – and burned out a lot faster!

DYB — I like fiction too, but even in reading I read a lot of non-fiction (mainly biographies).

Anyway, good night my darling DYB!!

I’m off to bed too everyone!! LOVE YOU ALL!!

fuzzy – one last thing — I forgot to tell you — you kick ass!!

xoxo

Good night for real this time.

night angie!

I’ll do my best taggles. Night all. you night owls behave yourselves :)

thanks so much Gary! I really appreciate it!

I’m gonna go too before I get in twouble!

Night all!

DYB, my favorite Scorcese film is probably “Mean Streets.” I like him at street level, not being spectacular like Spielberg or Coppola. More realists like De Sica, Visconti, Antonioni.

Man, the bigotry at that site is sickening.

thanks all good night

I was over at whatever place reading all the comments with lat-t-da, gary and angie.

That one guy Shane was fixated on gays cornholing. There’s actually a game by that name and I’ve known some people who played this as a kid. I cracked up the first time I saw it.
