Inconsideration
On the edge of reason
‘Tis not of course in doubt
The ultimate in misdirection
This one is centered about
Apologies dont begin to express
My sympathies all for naught
For it’s insane, even inane
But nonetheless a start

OPEN THREAD
OT..Carry over from last thread…My take on the idea of vote for any women even a Rethug. I looked at “Progressive Punch” scores for Republican Congresswomen.
To give some perspective to the scores:
Worst Republican- Doug lamborn-0.74
Best Republican- Dave Reichert-24
Republican “bench-mark”-Ron Paul-22
Worst Dem.-Bobby Bright-46
Worst Dem. Female-Ann Kirkpatrick-73
Republican Women:
Ros-Lehtinen-17
Shelly Capito-15
Judy Biggers-15
Candice Miller-13
Jo Ann Emerson-13
Mary bono-11
Ginny Brown-Waite-11
Lynn Jenkins-6
Cathy McMorris-Rodgers-5
Jean Schmidt-4
Mary Faillin-4
Sue Myrick-3
Michele Bachman-2
Cynthia Lummis-2
Virginia Foxx-2
Marsha Blackburn-1
I have no clue what you just said.
Am I right, SHV?
*******
Beats me. :>)…I wasn’t implying that many (any?) here advocates vote gender over politics, but the sense that I get is that some (all) PUMA and/or faux pro-Hillary sites talk about “common ground” with Republican women. I guess my point is, for people who think that sounds reasonable and why not vote for a female Republican candidate, hopefully some data will show it’s not a good strategy. (Does that make sense or did I step in sh*t)
I used it to prove that Hillary was more liberal than Obama in the primaries.
*********
Me too..until I was serially run off “progressive” sites.
A lot of PUMA feminism advocates voting for all women no matter what.
*********
I don’t read those sites but from the description of their content, sound as if they are “Trojan Horse” Rethug. sites. ie We love Hillary and I don’t agree with “Rush” very often but he is right with this “clip”.
Taggles:
I was confused with MB’s post at first and was wondering if she was trying to say “vote any woman”, because I knew that had come up in the past and could not believe that’s where she was going.
Thank goodness I got it straight what she was saying.
Fuzzy has a head cold not a pretty picture…
Madamab,
From the last thread:
how do you feel about the DNC:
SHV Answers:
POS!!!!! The Dem leadership both at the Party level and Congressional level is a disaster. The problem is: How do you change it?? Massive change in leadership usually comes after an election disaster, which could happen in 2010. But are we better off with major Rethug gains in the Congress and new leadership or same leadership and moderate Rethug wins???
Madamab answers:
And upon reflection and discussion with taggles, I also am willing to let the Republican women fend for themselves. Let’s face it, they steal all our good ideas, so if we are successful with the DNC, I am sure they will imitate us with the RNC.
I don’t have to help get Republican women into the pipeline in order to be a Widdershins team player? Yippeeeeeeeee! That was ganna really be hard to do and I would have been puking in my mouth a lot!
I also agree with what Fuzzy said:
we need to push harder for Liberal Democratic women in congress we cant let our women be outnumbered by their women…that would not be right errr correct!
Ileana Ros-Lehtinen – what a joke. One of my friends, who is Dominican, lives in her district and tells me that if you are not Cuban, she has little interest in you or your silly problems. She tells me that the only help that she can count on is Senator Bill Nelson. Thank God I have Kendrick Meek, whose office (and his staunch mother, Carrie) are always available to constituents. Kendrick also stayed with Hillary to the bitter end.
chatblu,
Ileana Ros-Lehtinen ‘thinks who she is’, YUK!!!
I’ve read good things about Kendrick Meek though. People seem to really like him.
Kendrick is a left-leaning moderate Democrat who gets it done for his district.
New post up – Madame Johnson returns!
